A solo journey across Thailand, backpacking in search of life stories, Luciano Baccaro travels far and wide to document a reality far removed from mass tourism, in a country often stereotyped by appearances. With his camera, he immerses himself in an off-the-beaten-path Thailand, exploring small communities where he meets and documents the lives of fishermen, artists, and coconut harvesters. His curiosity and desire to deeply understand the way of life of these people lead him to wander from south to north. Nowhere does he feel danger; everywhere, he is welcomed. In a rural village in the north, the community even invites him to take part in a Buddhist wedding ceremony.
